About Us

We're a small team of local residents and business owners with a passion for supporting our community and small business. We can’t wait to share our favourite parts of our Blue Mountains home with you.

A grass-roots project driven by passion

Table & Trail is a curated locals guide to the best things to do, eat, drink, see and experience in the Blue Mountains.

From the most famous and beautiful, to the small and secluded, we share our favourite spots that this World Heritage-listed region has to offer. From new and notable attractions, to local favourite cafés, we put everything in one easy place.

As local residents and business owners, we’re tired of the official visitor guides, magazines and maps that operate on a ‘user pays’ system, meaning you’ll only read about local businesses who can afford to pay to be listed.

So, we’ve taken matters into our own hands an created an independent, grass-roots guide that showcases all the best bits of the Mountains, while supporting smaller local businesses and our community.

We don’t charge to be part of our guide… this is more of a passion project, which has become a reliable guide to the neighbourhoods and towns of the Blue Mountains.

How can I be included?

Table & Trail is a carefully curated guide. We have a small team of content creators who live and work here, and keen to share all the things that make our region great, while telling stories from local people behind the scenes.

We aim to showcase local businesses and uncover places that offer unique and positive experiences. We are a trusted, curated resource for our users, and hand-select places we think our readers will love.

  • Locally Owned - We focus on businesses that are locally owned and operated, and love those that build a community around their business.

  • Locally Made - We focus on local makers, whether is a bar, restaurant, attraction or shop, we like to look at where their products come from.

  • Environment - The Blue Mountains is an eco-certified World Heritage listed destination. We’re drawn to places that actively work to reduce their carbon footprint and seek out alternative ways of doing business.

  • Design - We love a spot with a unique, memorable or quirky design. We’re passionate about featuring our Blue Mountains heritage buildings, art-deco, thoughtful interiors and good design.

  • Notable - We only share places that are worthy of your attention. Sometimes this is because it’s a world-famous attraction, or a local ‘institution’. Sometimes, it’s just because it’s a personal local favourite spot.

If you think we’ve missed something, or know a spot you’d like us to consider, please get in touch.
