Set in the dress circle of Katoomba’s historic Savoy Theatre, Avalon Restaurant & Cocktail Bar is a local institution, serving their unique style of hospitality for the past 35 years.

Enter the foyer of the art-deco theatre and make your way upstairs to find a unique and highly atmospheric venue, combining a playful retro decor with hearty food, friendly service and stunning Blue Mountains views.

A menu of hearty comfort dishes takes it’s influence from around the globe, and provides something to suit every taste, The kitchen is housed in the old projection room, while classic cocktails and retro tunes are served in the former refreshment lounge, now a cosy bar.

Local musicians perform each Friday night at the popular Friday Supper Club, and Katoomba Comedy Club is held in the foyer on the first Friday of the month.

Top this off with friendly, casual service and you will see why AVALON is one of the Blue Mountains’ most popular and long-standing dining experiences.
