If you’re chasing the ultimate sourdough in the Blue Mountains, you’ll find it at Black Cockatoo Bakery. Stepping into their Katoomba or Lawson locations is a sensory overload in the best way possible - the crackle of cooling crusts and the deep, caramelised scent of long-fermentation dough.

The almond croissants are the gold standard - shattering, golden layers that yield to a rich, buttery interior thanks to the use of premium Pepe Saya butter.
